Let’s rewind 5 years to 19th July 2020, Little old me, who'd never sold a record before, opens the front door to RICHMIX and welcomes customers for the very first time.
Sadly, very few came in....but I did get rid of a " Top of the Pops" LP and a couple of Cliff Richard albums, things, I hoped, could only get better… and d'ya know what..... they did.... I mean REALLY did !!!I!!
FAST-FORWARD to the present day and five fab years later. I'm still here not just surviving...but thriving ( sorry to sound smug) and can only marvel at how a chance visit to the previous incaration of the shop, in 2019, has led me to be sitting here. writing this message to you, half a decade later.
So, to YOU, the only reason I am still here.......( 'cos without you, we all know I would be not be ).........
I send out my warmest and heartiest thanks and recognition. YOU have kept me in daily bread and water ( cider actually ) for 1,825 of them. It has been massive fun for me, nearly all the time, and for YOU I hope it has also been. I hope YOU have enjoyed the music and bants and I hope I haven't offended YOU too much or too often.
I genuinely hope to be here writing a 10m birthday message in 2030 (yikes II! ) but for now let's take one thing at a time. Please join me in a hearty and congratulatory slap on the back for us all stil being here and loving the musical life.......
